Budget Hotel Tip WTM (world travel market)

We had the possibility to sleep at the Travelodge in Stratford, London while visiting the WTM (World Travel Market) in November. There are many Stations that are in walking distance to the Hotel – even with a big suitcase.<\/p>\n

Distance \u00a0ExCel and Location:<\/h2>\n

Getting to the \u00a0ExCel is wonderful. You only have to cross the street, take the DLR to Canning Town. Then you change the train and it brings you directly there. It will take around 10 to 15 Minutes max. The Ticket Price is around 3 Pounds. If you prefer taking a Taxi it will cost you 11 Pounds. But if you call that private Taxi Service you have to pay only 7 Pounds.<\/p>\n

Very close by feet you can find a wonderful Shopping Mall with Cinema. There you can find almost everything you need. Around that there are also lot\u2019s of Restaurants. I had a wonderful meal in that Thai Restaurant and can absolutely recommend that.<\/p>\n

Rooms:<\/h2>\n

The rooms are simple but it has everything you need. A very comfy King Size Bed, Tea and Coffee Maker, many Pillows (very important for me), flat TV and a new bathroom. Everything is very clean.\u00a0 There is a carpet on the floor.<\/p>\n

Breakfast:<\/h2>\n

Breakfast it very English I think. Lot\u2019s of sausages, scrambled egg, friet potatoes, baked beans, ketchup and mushroom. On the other side you find a very good and fresh fruit salad, yoghurts and cereals (many and different kinds). I think that the breakfast is \u201evielf\u00e4ltig\u201c The room has a long Window front and is open and friendly.<\/p>\n

Reception:<\/h2>\n

The Reception was always \u201ebelegt\u201c. You could ask around the hour.<\/p>\n

Wireless-Lan.<\/h2>\n

The Wireless is only free for 30 Minutes a day. If you want more you need to pay 3 pounds. That is not so much but still. I think Wireless should be free in every Hotel. That should be a service.<\/p>\n

Bottom Line:<\/h2>\n

Who want’s to sleep here to get easy to ExCel is perfectly right. The Hotel is much cheaper as other Hotels near Excel. There is a great Shopping Mall, Restaurants and Cinema only 2 Minutes away. There is not so much Party on this part of the town but in walking distance you will find Busses and so on. I would say quality\/price ration is good.<\/p>\n
